Moy Villa FC

Established in 1992, Moy Villa FC are based in Kilgellia , Attymass , Ballina , Co. Mayo. The senior team participate in division One of the Mayo League (2007). At youth level Moy Villa compete at U-12, U14, & U16 of their respective Mayo youth leagues. Moy Villa have funded the building of their own clubhouse in conjunction with volunteers from the local community. In 2006 our club also built an Astro turf facility with floodlights with some funding being provided from the Sports Capital Development Fund.

The Mayo league presented Moy Villa with 3rd prize in Mayo Club of the year awards for season 2006. In addition Moy Villa received Club of the month award for July 2006.

Fishing

The world famous River Moy flows through the parish of Attymass and can be accessed from several locations.

There are also several course fishing lakes in the area.
