St. Feichín's National School

Attymass
National School is primary school with a staff of three full-time mainstream
teachers and a full-time learning support teacher. We also have a visiting
part-time resource teacher and a part-time secretary. The school places
a stong emphasis on the value of education in an aim to assist all children
to achieve their potential in a safe environment. The children profit
from a varied curriculum with access to computers, tennis, soccer, Inter-School
Gaelic football, basketball, gymnastics and swimming. Other facilities
also include a large pitch and school yard.
The school building was completed in 1976. It is a solid, well built
structure in excellent condition. It contains four large classrooms, a
spacious general purpose room, along with a staff room, offices, etc.

The school has an active parents association which has been very successful
to date in fundraising to help towards the costs of events and equipment
for the school.
