Attymass Community Centre
A grant of €130,000 has been granted by a a specially-convened meeting of electoral area councilors and officials to add to the already allocated €221,000 for a childcare facility. Extensive fund-raising is still required; weekly card-drives, fashion shows and a ‘thousandaire’ scheme are amongst activities planned. Events The Old School Community Centre holds a regular 25 cards game on Wednesdays at 9.00pm - all are welcome! The centre is the venue for regular meetings of the Attymass Community Development association, the Attymass Fishing and Gun Clubs and the ICWA and hosts regular children's discos etc. |

new state-of-the art Community Centre is planned to be built on the site
of the old school, Attymass.
